This desk is beautiful and easy to assemble between two people. There are a lot of pieces and took us 3 hours to assemble at a leisurely pace (we used a drill when we could).
We did have a small issue:
We received 1 box with less than half the pieces required to assemble, and Amazon displayed that the order was complete and delivered. Customer support confirmed it was delivered and if we returned it, we'd have to pay for shipping. None of that seemed right to us.

I've assembled a bunch of furniture pieces and desks for my home and this one wasn't that difficult. The key to the "instructions" pictures is to look at where the holes are in the picture. If you follow those, you should be fine. Maybe a few times you may need to undo a bit but not that often. The only complaint I would have about this is the design. I really love the look of this shelf, and it wasn't too difficult to put together. Did it by myself in less than an hour and was easily able to secure to the wall. This one was $20-40 less than others exactly like it, and totally worth the money.

SUPER easy to assemble! I bought it to use as a standing desk but now am using it for a mobile TV stand - the wheels are brilliant - and it fits right over my couch to tuck out of the way. Super minimal and wood looks great. Price is the BEST! Buy it!

If you have tall ceilings (10'+), I'd suggest a taller bookshelf. LOVE this one - easy to put together and very sturdy - but it looks a little short in my space because my ceilings are so high.
