I've assembled a bunch of furniture pieces and desks for my home and this one wasn't that difficult. The key to the "instructions" pictures is to look at where the holes are in the picture. If you follow those, you should be fine. Maybe a few times you may need to undo a bit but not that often. The only complaint I would have about this is the design. The shelves look great and were relatively easy to assemble. One of my two orders was missing some of the hardware essential to secure the shelves, so check before assembling. Also, prepare to wait a few weeks for delivery.

It was easy to assemble, but for some reason not all the wood pieces touch the wall only the top two and the rest have a gap between them in the wall which makes it seem like they're don't have enough support.

This is a great little desk. It was not easy to assemble, however, as I believe one or two of the pieces were not made correctly. So I hired someone to assemble and he cut a few extra holes, etc. The drawer doesn't open all the way, but I'm not sure if that's specific to my desk or a manufacturer thing.

It's a great desk but a pain in the butt to put together.. it took me an hour and half to do it mind you I also have a puppy and 1 yr old running around. I bought this desk for my husband for an anniversary gift and it's great.
